Link cloaking is an important element in affiliate marketing – or any marketing, for that matter.

It’s important in affiliate marketing because affiliate ID’s and actual destination pages can be left wide open. This leads to theft of potential commissions, leading to potentially massive loss of hard-earned commission profits.
