		<description>Hey Jeromy,

You really have your act together on this stuff. My problem is, for as long as I&#039;ve been using computers (since 1997), I&#039;ve never been able to wrap my head around the concept of partitioning. I&#039;ve looked at it at various times, but I just get confused.

You&#039;ve given me pause to think about looking into it again.

Thanks for sharing that :-)

		<description>Plain and simple!

This is sort of what I do. Although I like to store data onto another HD partition (in case I need to reinstall my operating system). So What I have done is created a bunch of directories, similar to your folders, on my other drive. Then when it is time to clean up my desktop, I simply open that drive with Explorer and drag and drop my files into the associated folder.

You can actually take this a step further to set it up as you have. When your folders are set up on your alternate drive, right click them in explorer and click &quot;send to desktop&quot;. You&#039;ll then have a short cut folder on your desktop pointing to that folder. So then again, you can drag and drop, as you have in this video, right into your folders on another drive.

When you download a lot of stuff, there is risks of corrupting your files (virus or trogan). So I like to have my operating system on its own partition and my data on another (and backed up on an external drive). Then if my computer starts acting funny I can reinstall the operating system with out affecting my data.

Cheers,
