I’ve been online since 1998, and I’ve tried lots of different software and programs, for various reasons and projects. I like to pass on information and make recommendations to others based on what I’ve learned.
You’ll find on this blog that I often recommend free programs. Even though I’m an “affiliate marketer” for some of what I believe are the best products available, I recognize that not everyone wants to spend money, even based on a solid recommendation.
I believe there’s no substitute for quality. Most of the “at cost” programs I’ve discovered and used over the years are well worth the investment. They have features and conveniences that usually aren’t available in no-cost products. But, for many, the no-cost products do just what is needed. When I find, and try, these programs, I will pass them on.
My hope is that, when you are ready to make an investment, you’ll remember me as being the one who put you on the right track before, and return here to find just the right product for your current and future needs.
My simple philosophy remains: If I don’t use it myself, or haven’t at least tried it, I can’t and won’t ask you to spend time or money on it. I think that’s pretty fair, don’t you?
